Efficiency and Accuracy Improvements of Secure Floating-Point Addition over Secret Sharing

چکیده

In secure multiparty computation (MPC), floating-point numbers should be handled in many potential applications, but these are basically expensive. particular, for MPC based on secret sharing (SS), the addition takes communication rounds though is most fundamental operation. this paper, we propose an SS-based two-party protocol with 13 (for single/double precision numbers), which much fewer than milestone work of Aliasgari et al. NDSS 2013 (34 and 36 rounds, respectively) also state art literature. Moreover, contrast to existing protocols all “roundTowardZero” rounding mode IEEE 754 standard, another 15 first result realizing more accurate “roundTiesToEven” mode. We discuss possible applications latter Validated Numerics (a.k.a. Rigorous Computation) by implementing a simple example.

Computationally secure multiple secret sharing: models, schemes, and formal security analysis

A multi-secret sharing scheme (MSS) allows a dealer to share multiple secrets among a set of participants. in such a way a multi-secret sharing scheme (MSS) allows a dealer to share multiple secrets among a set of participants, such that any authorized subset of participants can reconstruct the secrets. Up to now, existing MSSs either require too long shares for participants to be perfect secur...

Secret Sharing Homomorphism and Secure E-voting

Secure E-voting is a challenging protocol.Several approaches based on homomorphic crypto systems, mix-nets blind signatures are proposed in the literature. But most of them need complicated homomorphic encryption which involves complicated encryption decryption process and key management which is not efficient. In this paper we propose a secure and efficient E-voting scheme based on secret sharin...

Secure Multiparty Computation and Secret Sharing

In a data-driven society, individuals and companies encounter numerous situations where private information is an important resource. How can parties handle confidential data if they do not trust everyone involved? This text is the first to present a comprehensive treatment of unconditionally secure techniques for multiparty computation (MPC) and secret sharing. In a secure MPC, each party poss...

Unconditionally Secure Multiparty Computation and Secret Sharing

We suggest protocols for secure computation of the sum, product, and some other functions of three or more elements of an arbitrary constructible ring, without using any one-way functions. A new input that we offer here is that, in contrast with other proposals, we conceal “intermediate results” of a computation, i.e., we do not let any party accumulate functions of other parties’ private numbe...

Combining Secret Sharing and Garbled Circuits for Efficient Private IEEE 754 Floating-Point Computations

Two of the major branches in secure multi-party computation research are secret sharing and garbled circuits. This work succeeds in combining these to enable seamlessly switching to the technique more efficient for the required functionality. As an example, we add garbled circuits based IEEE 754 floating-point numbers to a secret sharing environment achieving very high efficiency and the first,...
